Flula Borg

Flula Borg (born March 28, 1982, in Erlangen, West Germany) is a multifaceted entertainer—actor, comedian, DJ, YouTuber, writer, musician, and voice artist—who first gained attention as a Bavarian Schuhplattler dancer and techno DJ before moving to Los Angeles in his twenties . Through his inventive YouTube presence (starting around 2007), he built a large following—over 750K–1M subscribers and more than 100 million views—with viral hits like “Jennifer Is a Party Pooper” and his Auto-Tune series. Recognized for his comedic flair, he was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” and Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 25 Digital Stars,” and earned a Streamy Award for Comedy. Borg seamlessly transitioned to screen acting with roles in Pitch Perfect 2 (as Pieter Krämer) and its spin-off Bumper in Berlin, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, and the Sundance-winning indie Buddymoon, which he co-wrote and produced. In The Suicide Squad he portrayed Javelin—packing on muscle and discipline to prepare—later cementing his fitness commitment with a disciplined workout routine accompanied by an Italian trainer. His voice work includes roles in Ferdinand, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Trolls World Tour, and Luck. On television, Borg has appeared in popular shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Silicon Valley, The Good Place, and The Rookie, and is known as a charismatic presence on talk and game shows such as Conan, @Midnight, and the Team Coco comedy tour. Beyond video and film, he hosts the podcast Boom Time with Flula Borg and the sitcom‑style podcast Flula Makes Five.
