Hechinger. He attended Saint Ann's School, where his classmates included fellow actors Lucas Hedges and Maya Hawke. Early in his career, Hechinger was a teen reporter and also studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade, honing his comedic and improvisational skills.Hechinger made his acting debut in 2018 in Bo Burnham's critically acclaimed coming-of-age film "Eighth Grade," playing Trevor. This was quickly followed by roles in films like "Human Capital" (2019) and "News of the World" (2020), where he starred alongside Tom Hanks.
