Fu Ruoqing is a prominent figure in the Chinese film industry, currently serving as the Chairman of Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd. and the Chairman and General Manager of China Film Co., Ltd. (China Film Group). Born in March 1964, he is a male of Han nationality and a member of the Communist Party of China. He holds a master's degree and is a professor-level senior engineer.His career in the film industry spans decades; from 1986 to 2007, he was the deputy general manager of China Film Equipment Co., Ltd. and the general manager of State Production Base of China Film Group, among other roles. He began serving as the Chairman of Huaxia Film Distribution Co., Ltd. in June 2014. He has been involved in film shooting, post-production, investment, production, distribution, and the construction and management of cinemas. His production credits include notable films like Red Cliff, The Founding of a Republic, and The Beginning of the Great Revival, and he has been involved in the investment and distribution of films such as Operation Red Sea.Fu Ruoqing has also been recognized for his contributions to film technology, receiving the Technical Achievement Award at CineEurope 2022 alongside CINITY, the premium high-tech film brand associated with the China Film Group. He has emphasized that the success of Chinese films relies on both appealing storytelling and the improvement of film-screening technology to provide audiences with a high-quality cinematic experience. He also serves as a National Political Advisor.
