Gabrielle Maiden, whose full birth name is Gabrielle Christina Maiden, is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and former professional snowboarder, born on September 7, 1987, and raised in Los Angeles, California. She initially rose to prominence as a pioneering athlete, being recognized as the first African American woman competitive snowboarder, an achievement that saw her travel the world. Gabrielle is also the youngest daughter of Tony Maiden, the lead guitarist and vocalist for the legendary 1970s funk band Rufus and Chaka Khan. She eventually shifted her focus to acting, having caught the "acting bug" at the age of five. Her notable television and film credits include roles in the Netflix series Stranger Things (Season 2), the Amazon series I Love Dick, Showtime's SMILF, and the films Under the Silver Lake and Scare Package. Most recently, she was cast as Crystal, a pivotal character in the upcoming 2025 '80s revenge thriller film Stone Cold Fox, and is also slated to appear in the Russo brothers' Netflix film, The Electric State.
