Gal Gadot, born April 30, 1985, in Petah Tikva, Israel, is an international superstar whose journey from a small-town upbringing to global icon status is defined by resilience and versatility. Raised in a Jewish household in Rosh HaAyin, she was highly active as a child, majoring in biology and training in dance for 12 years. At 18, she won the title of Miss Israel 2004, but famously "rebelled" during the subsequent Miss Universe pageant by intentionally arriving late and wearing the wrong clothes to avoid winning. Following her pageant success, she completed two years of mandatory military service as a combat fitness instructor in the Israel Defense Forces, an experience she credits with teaching her the discipline that later helped her land her first major Hollywood role as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious (2009). While she initially intended to pursue a career in law and international relations, her performance in the Fast franchise and her casting as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) catapulted her to unprecedented fame, making her the face of one of cinema's most beloved superheroes.
