George Salazar
George Salazar is an American actor, singer, and musician, celebrated for his work on and off Broadway. Born on March 7, 1986, in Kissimmee, Florida, he is of Filipino and Ecuadorian heritage. Initially aspiring to become a surgeon, he shifted his focus to theater during high school and later earned a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Florida in 2008. Salazar made his Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of Godspell. He gained widespread recognition for originating the role of Michael Mell in the musical Be More Chill, which earned him critical acclaim and several awards. His performance of "Michael in the Bathroom" became a fan favorite. He also starred as Grover in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and played Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors at the Pasadena Playhouse. Beyond the stage, Salazar has appeared on screen, including a recurring role in American Crime Story. In 2025, he made his feature film debut as the voice of Happy in Disney's live-action remake of Snow White.
