Giulia Bevilacqua
Giulia Bevilacqua, born on May 19, 1979, in Rome, Italy, is a talented actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. She is the youngest of four children born to architect parents. After completing her classical studies at Liceo Classico Dante Alighieri in Rome, she pursued acting despite her family’s initial reservations. Giulia trained at the Teatro Training Studio and later graduated from the National Film School (Scuola Nazionale di Cinema). She began her acting career in 2003 with the TV series Un medico in famiglia 3 and went on to appear in several popular Italian TV dramas, including Don Matteo 4, Don Bosco, La omicidi, and Una famiglia in giallo. Her most notable role was as Anna Gori in the crime drama series Distretto di Polizia, which she played from 2005 to 2009 and again in 2011. Giulia’s film debut came in 2007 with Cardiofitness, and she has since appeared in movies like The Trial Begins (2007), How to Find the Right Man the Wrong Way (2011), Tutta colpa di Freud (2014), Natale col Boss (2015), The Contagion (2017), The King’s Musketeers (2018), I Wanted a Son (2023), Pare parecchio Parigi (2024), and When Mom Is Away… With the In-laws (2025). On television, she starred in the series Fuoriclasse (2014–2015) and played Valeria Camilli in È arrivata la felicità (2015–2018). In 2023, she was the lead in the mini-series Una mamma all’improvviso, portraying a mother who wakes up from a 17-year coma. Giulia has been married to journalist Nicola Capodanno since 2017, and they have two children, Vittoria (born 2018) and Edoardo (born 2020).
