Guè
Guè, previously known as Gué Pequeno, is an Italian rapper, songwriter, and record producer whose birth name is Cosimo Fini. He was born on December 25, 1980, in Milan, Italy. His parents, Marco Fini and Michela Fini, were both journalists, with his father being known for his investigative work. Cosimo's childhood nickname, "Il Guercio" (The One-eyed), was due to a visible condition in his left eye called blefaroptosi (ptosis), which he later embraced as part of his stage persona, shortening it to "Guè." He added "Pequeno" (meaning 'small' in Portuguese) later, around 2002, inspired by the character Zé Pequeno from the film City of God. In 2021, he officially shortened his stage name to just Guè. Guè's career began in the late 1990s in the Milanese underground hip-hop scene. He initially formed the group Sacre Scuole (1999–2001) with classmate Dargen D'Amico and Jake La Furia. Following internal conflicts, Guè and Jake La Furia, along with producer Don Joe, formed the influential hip-hop group Club Dogo in the early 2000s. Club Dogo released seven studio albums, helping to popularize trap-influenced hip-hop in Italy, and also spearheaded the Dogo Gang collective. His solo career began with mixtapes like Fastlife Mixtape Vol. 1 (2006) and the release of his debut studio album, "Il ragazzo d'oro" in 2011. In the same year, he co-founded the independent record label Tanta Roba with DJ Harsh. He achieved consistent commercial success with subsequent albums, including "Bravo ragazzo" (2013), "Vero" (2015), "Gentleman" (2017), "Sinatra" (2018), "Mr. Fini" (2020), "GVESVS" (2021), "Madreperla" (2023), and "Tropico del Capricorno" (2025). Many of his solo albums have topped the Italian charts and achieved multi-platinum certifications. A notable collaboration includes the 2016 album "Santeria" with fellow rapper Marracash, which also achieved significant commercial success. Throughout his career, Guè has collaborated with a range of international artists like Rick Ross and Jadakiss.
