Han Gi-chan (한기찬), born September 6, 1998, in South Korea, is a rising actor and former K-pop trainee under Fantagio. He gained significant attention for his role in the 2020 Boys' Love (BL) web drama Where Your Eyes Linger, where he portrayed Han Tae-joo, the heir to a chaebol family. The series is notable for being one of Korea’s first BL dramas and has been praised for its portrayal of LGBTQ+ themes. Prior to his acting career, Han participated in the 2019 survival show Produce X 101, where he was a trainee for ten months but was eliminated in episode 8 . Following this, he transitioned into acting, taking on roles in various television dramas, including Find Me If You Can (2021), Again My Life (2022), Island (2022–2023), and Dare to Love Me (2024) . In 2025, Han expanded his international presence with a role in the film The Wedding Banquet, an adaptation of Ang Lee’s 1993 classic. The film features a diverse cast, including Youn Yuh-jung and Bowen Yang, and explores themes of identity and cultural expectations . Han Gi-chan is represented by Fantagio and continues to build his career in both Korean and international entertainment industries.
