She began her acting career at a young age, initially performing under the stage name Hana Toyoshima (豊島 花) before transitioning to her current name. Affiliated with the talent agency Stardust Promotion, she previously belonged to Smile Monkey. Toyoshima gained recognition for her role as Kuniko Seo (Okaji) in the 2023 Japanese drama film Call Me Chihiro (ちひろさん), directed by Rikiya Imaizumi. The film, which premiered on Netflix, stars Kasumi Arimura as Chihiro, a former sex worker who now works at a bento shop.
