Hande Erçel is a prominent Turkish actress and model, born on November 24, 1993, in Bandırma, Balıkesir, Turkey. She pursued her education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, majoring in Traditional Turkish Arts. Erçel began her career in the entertainment industry with minor roles in series like Tatar Ramazan and Çalıkuşu in 2013. Her breakthrough came with the role of Selin Yılmaz in the youth series Güneşin Kızları (2015), which significantly boosted her popularity. Erçel's international recognition grew with her portrayal of Hayat Uzun in Aşk Laftan Anlamaz (2016–2017), opposite Burak Deniz. The series gained immense popularity in Turkey and abroad, particularly in Latin America, South Asia, and the Middle East. She continued her success with leading roles in Siyah İnci (2017–2018), Halka (2019), and Azize (2019). In 2020, Erçel starred as Eda Yıldız in Sen Çal Kapımı, which became a massive hit, breaking records on social media platforms and earning her the Best Actress of the Year award at the Golden Wings Awards .
