Harriet Dyer is an Australian actress born on October 17, 1988, in Townsville, Queensland. She was educated at Townsville Grammar School and later attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, graduating from the full-time acting course at the Actor's Centre Australia in 2011. Her career, which began around 2012, includes notable television roles such as Patricia "Patty" Saunders in the drama series Love Child (2014–2017) and April in the comedy series No Activity (2015–2018). Dyer also starred in the NBC drama The InBetween and the NBC sitcom American Auto. In film, her most prominent role is Emily Kass in the 2020 movie The Invisible Man. Along with her husband, actor Patrick Brammall, Dyer is the co-creator, co-writer, and co-star of the award-winning Australian comedy series Colin from Accounts, for which she won the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actress in 2023. Dyer and Brammall married in 2021 and are parents to two children, their first being a daughter they adopted in 2021.
