Harrison Sloan Gilbertson is an Australian actor, born on June 29, 1993, in Adelaide, Australia. He began his career on stage at the age of six, and made his screen debut in the 2002 film Australian Rules. His breakthrough role came in 2009 as the lead, Billy Conway, in the film Accidents Happen. The following year, he won the AFI Young Actor Award for his performance as the World War I soldier Frank Tiffin in Beneath Hill 60.Gilbertson has since established a notable career in both film and television in Australia and the US. His significant film roles include Little Pete in the action movie Need for Speed (2014), Eron in the critically acclaimed sci-fi thriller Upgrade (2018), and Travis McKean in the Stephen King/Joe Hill horror adaptation In the Tall Grass (2019). He also appeared in the 2023 Christopher Nolan film Oppenheimer as physicist Philip Morrison, and the 2025 movie Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere as Matt Delia. On television, he starred as Michael Fitzhubert in the 2018 miniseries Picnic at Hanging Rock and was a main cast member in the 2022 Amazon series The Peripheral.
