Håvard Bakke

Håvard Bakke is a distinguished Norwegian actor, voice actor, and singer, born on April 2, 1974, in Sarpsborg, Norway. He achieved immediate and widespread fame at the age of 16 for his breakthrough role as Pelle in the film adaptations of Ingvar Ambjørnsen's popular "Pelle and Proffen" book series, starting with Døden pa˚ Oslo S (Death at Oslo Central) in 1990. Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous Norwegian films and television series, including the main role of Dag in the film Buddy (2003) and the TV series Hotel Cæsar (as Scott Wallace).Bakke is a prominent figure in Norwegian theatre and musical productions. He has played major roles in musicals such as Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia! (2021-2022), Captain Georg Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, and Javert in Les Miseˊrables. He is also deeply involved in the Captain Sabertooth universe, having portrayed both the villain Greven av Gral (The Count of Gral) in the stage show Captain Sabertooth and the Cursed Island (2007–2009, 2016-2017) and the pirate Langemann in several other stage productions of the franchise.As a renowned voice actor, Bakke is the established Norwegian voice of several iconic animated characters, most notably the adult Simba in Disney's The Lion King (1994) and Hercules in Disney's Hercules (1997), as well as Moses in The Prince of Egypt (1998). He is also a musician, having been active in the band Sordid Conditions and later Monomania, and he competed in the Norwegian singing competition Stjernekamp (Battle of the Stars) in 2016, placing third.
