Huma Saleem Qureshi, born on July 28, 1986, is a prominent Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi-language films and web series. She was born in New Delhi and has a bachelor's degree in History with Honours from the University of Delhi. Before her film career, she was involved in theater and modeling and appeared in numerous television commercials. She made her breakthrough film debut with a supporting role in the critically acclaimed two-part crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), which earned her nominations for both Best Female Debut and Best Supporting Actress at the Filmfare Awards.Throughout her career, Qureshi has showcased her versatility by taking on a wide range of roles in different genres. Her notable films include the black comedy Dedh Ishqiya (2014), the revenge drama Badlapur (2015), and the courtroom comedy Jolly LLB 2 (2017). She also gained international recognition for her role in the American film Army of the Dead (2021).
