Ilya Lyubimov
Ilya Petrovich Lyubimov (born February 21, 1977, in Moscow) is a distinguished Russian actor renowned for his work in theater and film. He began his acting career at the age of 11 with the Theater of the Young Muscovite under the direction of Alexander Tyukavkin. In 1993, he enrolled in the directing department at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), studying under the mentorship of the esteemed director Pyotr Fomenko. Upon graduation, Lyubimov joined the Pyotr Fomenko Workshop Theatre, where he continues to perform in productions such as War and Peace and Family Happiness . In addition to his theatrical accomplishments, Lyubimov has appeared in over 60 films. Notably, he portrayed Vitali in the romantic comedy-drama Inadequate People (2010) and its sequel Inadequate People 2 (2020). He also featured in the 2025 biographical drama The Poet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin, playing Vasily Zhukovsky . Beyond his professional endeavors, Lyubimov is married to actress Ekaterina Vilkova, with whom he has two children.
