Ilya Vinogorsky is a Russian actor born on September 30, 1999, in Odintsovo, a suburb of Moscow. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the arts—his father and uncle, Konstantin and Alexei Vinogorsky, are stage actors at the "Nash Dom" theater in Odintsovo—Vinogorsky was immersed in the theatrical world from a young age. He pursued formal training at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), studying under renowned actor Sergei Yushin. During his time at GITIS, he participated in productions such as Starfall and Red Laughter, showcasing his developing talent. Vinogorsky's career spans both stage and screen. He has performed in various theatrical productions, including plays at the Boyar Chambers of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia, notably in The Robbers: Moërs, where he explored the profound impact of parental love and indifference on children. On screen, he made his film debut in 2019 with a supporting role in Alexander Kovtunets' short film Being. He gained further recognition through roles in youth-oriented series like Same Fool - 2 and Sixteen+. In 2022, he starred as Artem in the detective melodrama Anatomy of Murder - 5, alongside seasoned actors such as Daniil Spivakovsky and Sergei Kolesnikov. He also showcased his dramatic range in the sports melodrama Home Field, alongside an ensemble cast that included Svetlana Ustinova, Maxim Matveev, and Ivan Yankovsky. In 2024, Vinogorsky featured in the film Whisper of the Witch, directed by Serik Beyseu, and the crime series Cicadas, where he reunited with fellow actor Ekaterina Voronina. He also secured roles in the fantasy films The Biggest Moon and Eterna, and the biographical drama The Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin, portraying Ivan Ivanovich Pushchin, a Decembrist and Pushkin's friend from high school.
