Indraneil Sengupta, born on September 8, 1974, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is a prominent Indian model-turned-actor known for his work in Hindi and Bengali films, as well as numerous television shows and web series. He initially gained recognition as a finalist in the 1999 Gladrags Manhunt Contest, where John Abraham was the winner. Following this, he had a successful modeling career, working with renowned designers and appearing in various commercials and music videos.His acting journey began with television, notably in shows like Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam (2006). He made his Bollywood film debut with Shukriya: Till Death Do Us Apart in 2004. However, it was his roles in Bengali cinema that often brought him critical acclaim, including Autograph (2010), Arekti Premer Golpo (2011), and Mishawr Rawhoshyo (2013), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
