Irina Ivanovna Alfyorova (Russian: Ири́на Ива́новна Алфёрова), born on March 13, 1951, in Novosibirsk, Soviet Union (now Russia), is a renowned Soviet and Russian actress celebrated for her extensive work in film and theater. Alfyorova embarked on her acting journey as a student at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS). Her breakthrough came in 1973 when she portrayed Dasha in the television series The Road to Calvary, which garnered significant acclaim. She further solidified her status with roles in D'Artagnan and Three Musketeers (1979) as Constance Bonacieux and TASS Is Authorized to Declare... (1984) as Olga Winter. In 1976, she joined the Lenkom Theatre in Moscow, where she performed in various productions. Later, she became associated with the Theatre School of Modern Play, participating in plays such as Everything Will Be Fine and The Other Man. Alfyorova's filmography includes over 50 films and television series, with notable works like The Last Test (2018), Happiness Is... Part 2 (2019), and Red Silk (2025), where she portrayed Countess Demidova. Beyond her acting career, Alfyorova has been involved in various social causes and philanthropic efforts, advocating for human rights and equality. She has been married twice: first to actor Aleksandr Abdulov, with whom she has a daughter, Ksenia, and later to actor Sergei Martynov.
