Irina Vladimirovna Starshenbaum is a Russian actress born on March 30, 1992, in Moscow. She initially studied mass communication and public relations at Moscow State University before pursuing her passion for acting. Starshenbaum gained significant recognition for her role in the 2017 sci-fi blockbuster Attraction and its 2020 sequel Invasion. She also received critical acclaim for her performance in the 2018 film Leto (Summer), a biographical musical about the Soviet rock scene, and for her leading role in the war drama T-34 (2018). She was awarded a TEFI for Best Actress for her performance in T-34. Starshenbaum has continued to work on a variety of projects, including the 2023 film Shoshana and the 2024 fantasy-adventure film The Enchanted Tinderbox.
