Irma Carolina Di Monte
Irma Carolina Di Monte is an Argentine actress who is based in Italy, known for her work in both television and film. Born in Córdoba, Argentina, on October 15, 1976, she relocated to Italy where she trained at the Teatro Colli professional acting school in Bologna. She is most recognized by Italian television audiences for her long-running role as Adele in the police drama series Distretto di Polizia (District of Police), appearing from the fifth through the ninth seasons (2004–2009). Her television credits also include series like La squadra 7, Crimini bianchi, Amiche mie, and L'Alligatore. In cinema, Di Monte has featured in films such as Gli ultimi saranno ultimi (The Last Will Be Last) in 2015, where she played a transgender woman, and the 2024 comedy film Ricchi a tutti i costi (The Price of Nonna's Inheritance), where she played Patricia. Beyond acting, she also works as a voice actress, lending her voice to roles in Italian dubs of international series like Orange Is the New Black and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
