Isolda Dychauk-Ott is a German actress of Russian descent. She was born as Isolda Dychauk on February 4, 1993, in Surgut, Russia, and later moved to Berlin with her mother in 2002. She learned German without an accent and was admitted to the Berlin-based acting school Next Generation in 2003.Her acting career began in 2004 with the short film "Gimme your shoes." She gained notable recognition for her lead role in Aleksandr Sokurov's 2011 film "Faust," which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Following this, she was cast in her first English-language project, the international television series "Borgia" (2011-2014), where she portrayed Lucrezia Borgia.Dychauk has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including "The Book of Vision" (2020), "City on a Hill" (2019), "Berlin Station" (2018-2019), "Boris Without Béatrice" (2016), and "McVeigh" (2024).She is married to American director and screenwriter Mike Ott.
