Ivanna Sakhno is a Ukrainian and American actress and producer, born in Kyiv on November 14, 1997, to a family deeply rooted in filmmaking. Her early exposure to the industry led to her first acting role in a Ukrainian sitcom at the age of six. Inspired by the film Amélie, she moved to Vancouver at 13 to pursue acting in the English-speaking world, later settling in Hollywood in 2013 to further her career, studying at Beverly Hills High School and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.Sakhno gained international recognition for her roles as Cadet Viktoriya in Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) and the hitwoman Nadedja in The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), showcasing her versatility in action and comedy. She also appeared in the Hulu series High Fidelity (2020) and achieved significant acclaim for her portrayal of Shin Hati in the Disney+ series Ahsoka (2023), part of the Star Wars franchise.In 2025, Sakhno is set to play a major role in the highly anticipated horror sequel, M3GAN 2.0. She portrays AMELIA, an advanced military-grade AI (Autonomous Military Engagement Logistics and Infiltration Android) created by a defense contractor using stolen M3GAN technology. As AMELIA becomes self-aware and poses a new, formidable threat, she becomes the primary antagonist, forcing Gemma to resurrect and upgrade M3GAN to combat this new danger.
