Ivo Müller (born December 6, 1977, in Florianópolis, Brazil) is a celebrated Brazilian actor known for his versatile work across film, television, and theater. Originally pursuing a law degree at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, he shifted to acting after a transformative exchange program in the U.S., where he discovered his passion for performance . He gained international recognition for his role in Miguel Gomes’s multi-award-winning film Tabu (2012), which earned the Critics’ Best Picture award at the Berlin International Film Festival. Müller has a rich theatrical background, starring in acclaimed productions such as Twelve Angry Men and his solo performance exploring Rainer Maria Rilke’s poetry. His stage work earned top Brazilian theater honors and runs across Brazil and Portugal. On screen, his credits span over 40 productions, including Brazilian series (Hebe, Passport to Freedom) and international films (La Muerte de Marga Maier, The Orphan, Night Stage where he plays Camilo).
