He began training at the age of eight, earning a black belt in Taekwondo by 12, and eventually achieving a 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo and a 2nd-degree in Hapkido, with proficiency in various weapons. He also served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Corps from 1986 to 1990, where he was a two-time All-Army champion and part of the U.S. Taekwondo Olympics 1990 team.Perry transitioned into stunt work in the late 1980s, quickly establishing himself as a top-tier stunt performer. He has performed in over 100 credited roles, contributing to iconic films and TV shows such as Mortal Kombat (where he did stunt work for Johnny Cage), Batman & Robin, Blade, Wild Wild West, Avatar, Iron Man, Django Unchained, and the John Wick franchise. His expertise extended to fight choreography and stunt coordination for major productions like The Expendables 3, Transformers: Age of Extinction, John Wick: Chapter 2, Argo, and F9: The Fast Saga. He is a member of the elite 87Eleven Action Design stunt team, co-founded by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch.More recently, J.J.
