Jabari Banks
Jabari Banks, whose full name is Patrick Jabari Campbell, is an American actor and musician born on August 2, 1998. He is best known for starring as Will Smith in the Peacock drama series Bel-Air (2022–2025), which is a dramatic reimagining of the classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Originally from Prince George's County, Maryland, he spent time in West Philadelphia, where the fictional character Will Smith is from. Banks attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he studied musical theater. The role in Bel-Air was his television debut and has earned him multiple nominations for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series at the NAACP Image Awards (2023, 2024, 2025) and a nomination for Best Actor at the 2022 BET Awards. In addition to his lead television role, he has appeared in films such as the heist thriller Bad Genius (2024) and the animated movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw (2025), where he had a voice role as Lenwood. As a musician, he releases music under the mononym Jabari and released his debut EP, ULTRA, in 2025.
