Jacnier Ríos is a Puerto Rican actor, singer, and songwriter who has been making significant strides in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Aguada, Puerto Rico, he began his artistic journey at a young age, influenced by his family's musical background. At 17, during his senior year of high school, Jacnier wrote and directed the musical El Tren de la Vida, which earned him a full scholarship in Performing Arts at Universidad de Sagrado Corazón in San Juan . After graduating in 2019, Jacnier embarked on a Puerto Rico tour, debuting at the renowned Centro de Bellas Artes de Puerto Rico. His talents soon caught the attention of Broadway, leading to his role as Mike Teavee in the national tour of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, marking a historic moment as the first Puerto Rican actor to play the character. In 2023, Jacnier expanded his reach to television, starring as Luis Diego in the Disney+ musical series Gina Yei – #ConTodoElCorazónYMás . His international presence grew further in 2025 with his debut at the Cannes Film Festival in the film Honey Don’t, a project directed by Ethan Coen .
