William Jacob "Jake" Busey (born June 15, 1971) is an American actor, musician, and film producer. The son of renowned actor Gary Busey, Jake began his acting career at a young age, even appearing with his father in the 1978 film "Straight Time."Busey gained significant recognition in the 1990s and early 2000s for his roles in various genre films. He is particularly known for playing the serial killer Johnny Bartlett in "The Frighteners" (1996), the smart-mouthed Private "Ace" Levy in "Starship Troopers" (1997), and the villainous Kyle Brenner in "Tomcats" (2001). Other notable film appearances include "Contact" (1997), "Enemy of the State" (1998), "Identity" (2003), and "The Predator" (2018), where he played the son of the character his father portrayed in "Predator 2."In television, Busey has had recurring roles in popular series such as "From Dusk till Dawn: The Series" (2014-2016), "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Ray Donovan," and "Stranger Things," where he played the journalist Bruce.
