James Bane

James Bane is an American actor, military advisor, and performance capture artist based in Los Angeles. Born on May 9, 1980, in Cookeville, Tennessee, he grew up in Celina, Tennessee. Standing at 6′ 4½″ (1.94 m), Bane's imposing physical presence has been a notable asset in his acting career. Before pursuing acting, he served as a U.S. Marine, completing two combat tours in Iraq in 2004 and 2006. After his military service, Bane earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2013. He is also a company member of Tim Robbins' acting troupe, The Actors' Gang . Bane's filmography includes roles in My Dead Friend Zoe (2024), Causeway (2022), and Khali the Killer (2017) . On television, he has appeared in NCIS: Los Angeles, Lethal Weapon, and Criminal Minds . His theatrical work spans productions such as Ajax in Iraq, Sentience, and Accidental Death of an Anarchist .
