James Gaylyn (born January 9, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA) is an American actor and musician who has built a prolific career primarily based in New Zealand since moving there with his New Zealand-born wife in 1981.As a musician, Gaylyn is an accomplished blues singer and drummer. He has released albums and toured extensively in New Zealand and Australia, and notably played drums on the international hit song "How Bizarre" by OMC. He was also signed to RCA Records in the US and CBS Records in New Zealand.In his acting career, Gaylyn is widely recognized for his numerous contributions to the "Power Rangers" franchise, where he has had both on-screen roles, such as Colonel Mason Truman in Power Rangers RPM, and extensive voice acting roles for villains like Zeltrax in Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Dai Shi, and Gosei.
