James "Moonwalker" Moontasri is a retired American mixed martial artist, actor, and stunt performer. Born on April 10, 1988, he is of Korean and Thai descent. Moontasri began his career in Taekwondo, where he was a highly decorated athlete, including being named the 2007 USA Taekwondo Male Athlete of the Year and a two-time USA Taekwondo National Champion. After a successful Taekwondo career, he transitioned to mixed martial arts, competing in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions. With a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 5 losses, he fought in organizations like the RFA and the UFC.After retiring from professional fighting, Moontasri has leveraged his combat sports background for a career in Hollywood as a stunt coordinator and actor.
