He grew up in the Buena Vista neighborhood with his mother and siblings before relocating to Rotterdam, Netherlands, at age 11. Initially working as a painter, he transitioned into comedy in 2002 with the theater group Young Stage and later performed with Ro-theater and other Dutch ensembles. Asporaat gained national fame through his television shows Comedy at Work and De Dino Show, and became a household name with the Bon Bini Holland film franchise, where he played multiple characters including the beloved Judeska. His comedic style blends observational humor, satire, and Caribbean cultural themes.
