Janusz Chabior is a prolific Polish film, television, and theatre actor, born on February 17, 1963, in Legnica, Poland. He is widely recognized for his distinctive appearance and commanding presence, often being cast in roles as gritty characters, including police officers, former security service agents, and figures from the criminal underworld. Chabior began his professional career in theatre, working as an apprentice at the Helena Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica from 1991 to 1999, before passing his extramural acting exam in 2000. He later became an actor at the Teatr Rozmaitości in Warsaw.His film career began with the French-Polish production Magneto (1993), but his profile significantly rose with later roles.
