Jasmin Schwiers
Jasmin Schwiers is a German actress and voice actress, born on August 11, 1982, in Eupen, Belgium, and raised in the country's German-speaking community. She discovered her passion for acting through children's theatre at the age of ten and made her television debut in 1994, with her early career quickly building steam. She gained significant popularity for her role as Sandra Kruse, the daughter of the title character, in the RTL comedy series Ritas Welt (1999–2001), which became her breakthrough. Since then, she has built a substantial and varied career in German film and television, with notable film appearances including Tattoo (2002), NVA (2005), and Little Paris (2008). Schwiers also received the prestigious Günter-Strack-Fernsehpreis in 2000 for her performance in the TV film Heimliche Küsse – Verliebt in ein Sex-Symbol. In recent years, she has continued to star in numerous TV series and movies like Die Füchsin and the comedy film Entführen für Anfänger (2024). She is part of the ensemble in the highly anticipated 2025 comedy Western sequel, Das Kanu des Manitu (Manitou's Canoe), where she plays the new character, Mary, the assistant to Dimitri. Schwiers is also an ambassador for the German Children's Hospice Association.
