Jason Ritter is an American actor born on February 17, 1980, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of the late comedic actor John Ritter and actress Nancy Morgan, and the grandson of country music star Tex Ritter. Jason began acting at a young age and has since developed a diverse career in television, film, and voice acting. He gained early recognition for his role as Kevin Girardi in the drama series Joan of Arcadia, and later earned an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Mark Cyr in NBC’s Parenthood.
