Jason Young

Jason Young (Thai: เจสัน ยัง), born on January 31, 1980, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a Thai–Australian actor and singer known for his versatile presence in film and television. He graduated from Pathum Kongka School and pursued higher education at Columbia College Hollywood in Los Angeles, majoring in Film and Television Production . Beginning his entertainment career in the mid-1990s as a pop singer, Jason released hit albums such as Young Jason (1995), Jason Youngster (1996), and C.J.L. Friends Club (1997). Transitioning to acting in the early 2000s, he appeared in several popular Thai films including Death Happens (2009), F. Hilaire (2015, earning a Best Leading Actor nomination from the Bangkok Critics Assembly), and Friend Zone (2019). His television roles include The Crown Princess (2018) and Miss Culinary (2019), and he was nominated for Best Villain at the 2012 Siamdara Star Awards for Muk Liam Petch. In a career twist, Jason embraced monastic life in 2014, becoming a Buddhist monk temporarily before returning to the public sphere in 2015 . Since 2022, he has been working outside of entertainment as a Senior Protective Services Officer with the Queensland Police in Australia.
