Jeff Cutter
Jeff Cutter is a highly accomplished American cinematographer (Director of Photography) known for his striking visual work across a variety of film and television genres, including horror, thriller, science fiction, and action.His career includes notable collaborations with director Dan Trachtenberg, serving as the cinematographer for the acclaimed films 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) and the prequel Prey (2022), the latter of which garnered praise for its challenging, naturalistic lighting that often relied on firelight and moonlight. He is also the cinematographer for the upcoming Predator: Badlands.Cutter's other prominent film credits include the horror films Orphan (2009) and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), as well as the comedy Office Christmas Party (2016). In television, he has worked on major shows such as the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys and the miniseries Daisy Jones & The Six. Prior to his narrative film career, Cutter was an established Director of Photography in the music video industry, working with major artists and directors like Mark Romanek and Francis Lawrence.
