Jeppe Beck Laursen
Jeppe Beck Laursen is a prolific Norwegian actor and occasional stuntman, born on June 1, 1972, in Norway. He is known for his versatility, having worked extensively in both Norwegian and international film and television productions. His most famous role internationally is undoubtedly that of the Danish Viking warlord Hæsten in the historical drama series The Last Kingdom (2017–2022) and its subsequent movie conclusion, The Last Kingdom:Seven Kings Must Die (2023). Other notable English-language credits include the action fantasy film Hansel &$ Gretel:Witch Hunters (2013), the sci-fi thriller What Happened to Monday (2017), and the Norwegian historical film The Last King (2016). In his native Norway, he is recognized for roles in films such as the cult horror-comedy Dead Snow (2009), the Christmas horror There′s Something in the Barn (2023), and the TV series Beforeigners and Ragnarok. Beck Laursen is also an accomplished voice actor, having voiced characters like Maui in the Norwegian dub of Disney's Moana (Vaiana).
