Jeremy Lindsay Taylor is an Australian actor and director, born on September 19, 1973, in Sydney. He is known for a substantial career spanning over two decades across film, television, and theatre. Taylor completed his education at Newington College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Drama and Sociology from the University of Newcastle. His career launched with a main role as Kurt Peterson in the popular 1990s drama Heartbreak High, a role he briefly reprised in the 2022 revival.Throughout his career, he has been a consistent presence in major Australian television, notably starring as Petty Officer Pete Tomaszewski ("Buffer") in Sea Patrol from 2007–2009, Martin Vickers in Puberty Blues (2012–2014), and Brian Rickards in Playing for Keeps. Other significant television appearances include Something in the Air, Blue Heelers, Underbelly: Razor, Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, Love Child, Hyde & Seek, Romper Stomper, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, and roles in Home and Away as both Dylan Carter and, more recently, as David Langham.His film credits feature appearances in Tom White, Em 4 Jay, Bad Bush, and the acclaimed adaptations of Jane Harper's novels, The Dry and Force of Nature: The Dry 2.
