Swift transitioned to television and film in the 1990s, gaining recognition for his roles in productions such as Gosford Park (2001), Amazing Grace (2006), and Mary Poppins Returns (2018). He is widely known for his portrayal of Leslie Higgins in the hit Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, a role that earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2021.
