Jesper Christensen, born on May 16, 1948, in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a Danish actor recognized for his extensive work in both European and English-language cinema. He embarked on his acting career in 1968, spending 25 years primarily in theatre, where he took on significant roles such as Alceste in "The Misanthrope" and Richard in "Richard III." Since transitioning to film in 1998, he has appeared in over 100 films, collaborating with notable directors including Lars von Trier, Sydney Pollack, and Sam Mendes.Christensen is particularly known for his portrayal of the enigmatic villain Mr. White in the James Bond films "Casino Royale" (2006), "Quantum of Solace" (2008), and "Spectre" (2015).
