Jessamine Burgum
Jessamine Burgum is an American actress and executive producer known for her work in film and television. She is the daughter of North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and his wife, Karen Stoker. Born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota, Jessamine developed an early passion for acting, often performing in community theater productions. After graduating from the Guthrie Theater Bachelor of Fine Arts actor training program in Minneapolis in 2018, Jessamine moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Her first significant role brought her back to her hometown, where she starred as Ashley in the film Tankhouse. In addition to her acting role, she served as an executive producer for the project, which was filmed in Fargo and celebrated the local theater community. Jessamine's work in Tankhouse was particularly meaningful as it allowed her to give back to the community that supported her artistic development. The film featured a cast that included Richard Kind, Christopher Lloyd, Joe Adler, Tara Holt, and Stephen Friedrich.
