Born in Swansea, Wales, on May 3, 1994, Jessica Sula is a Welsh actress known for her versatile roles across television and film. She grew up in Gorseinon, the daughter of a Trinidadian mother and a German-Estonian father, and she holds a black belt in karate. Sula first rose to prominence in 2011 with her breakout role as Grace Blood in the fifth and sixth series of the popular British teen drama Skins. Her performance on the show opened doors to major projects in the United States, including a lead role as Maddie Graham in the Freeform drama series Recovery Road (2016) and a recurring part in the Emmy-winning Netflix limited series Godless (2017). On the big screen, Sula gained international recognition for her role as Marcia in M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller Split (2016), starring alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and James McAvoy. She has continued to build a diverse filmography, appearing in the A24 comedy-drama The Lovers (2017) and taking on the lead role of Jessica Loren in the 2023 horror film Malum. In her latest major project, she has been cast to portray La Toya Jackson in the highly anticipated 2026 biographical film Michael.
