Jett Klyne
Jett Klyne is a Canadian actor born on June 15, 2009, in Penticton, British Columbia. He began his career in infancy as the Gerber Baby in a television commercial. By the age of four, he transitioned to the big screen, appearing in Skyscraper (2018) alongside Dwayne Johnson and The Humanity Bureau (2017), where he played the childhood version of Nicolas Cage's character. His breakout role came when he starred as Tommy Maximoff in Marvel Studios' WandaVision, playing opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. He reprised this role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), further demonstrating his ability to deliver nuanced, emotionally charged performances in blockbuster films.. In 2023, Jett took on his most challenging role yet in The Boy in the Woods, the film adaptation of the bestselling WWII memoir, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Playing Max, a young Jewish boy fighting to survive in the wilderness, Jett's performance received critical acclaim. The Guardian hailed it as "impressive" for its emotional depth, with others comparing his work to a young Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun. The film has already had its theatrical release and is set to hit the U.S. in late September 2024. Jett's versatility extends to television, where he's appeared in hit series such as The X-Files, Supergirl, Supernatural, and Deadly Class. His work also includes supporting roles in Hallmark and Lifetime movies. In 2022, Jett led Netflix's family adventure Phantom Pups and is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming horror film SHAMAN, starring alongside The Vampire Diaries alums Daniel Gillies and Sara Canning. Off-camera, Jett is just as dynamic—he's a rugby-playing, golf-loving, sports fanatic, and a sneaker-head with a serious Marvel obsession. He'd do just about anything to work alongside Robert Downey Jr., with dreams of one day stepping into the iconic role of Iron Man.
