SunHee Seo, known professionally as Ji-young Yoo, is an American actress born around the year 2000 to Korean immigrants in Denver, Colorado. She attended Colorado Academy and later majored in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California. Yoo also honed her acting skills at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp.She began her career under her birth name, SunHee Seo, appearing in the film "Moxie" in 2021 and providing voice work for "Spider-Man: Far from Home." By 2021, she adopted her stage name, Ji-young Yoo, and was cast in the A24/Apple TV+ film "The Sky Is Everywhere" and the Amazon Prime series "Expats" alongside Nicole Kidman. Her filmography includes "Smoking Tigers" (for which she won Best Performance in a U.S. Narrative Feature at the 2023 Tribeca Festival), "Freaky Tales," and the upcoming horror film "Until Dawn," where she plays Megan. In television, she has had roles in "Sweet Home" (voice), "We Baby Bears" (voice, as SunHee Seo), and the miniseries "Expats," for which she received a Gotham Award nomination for Outstanding Performance in a Limited Series.
