Joaquín Reyes Cano is a Spanish actor, comedian, draftsman, scriptwriter, stand-up comedian, and TV host, born in Albacete in 1974. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Cuenca. Reyes began his journey in comedy alongside friends from university, including Julián López, Raúl Cimas, and Ernesto Sevilla, later joined by Carlos Areces and Ignatius Farray. Together, this group created influential comedy programs that defined a generation's humor, such as 'La Hora Chanante' (2002–2006) and 'Muchachada Nui' (2007–2010), where Reyes performed skits and impersonated various characters. He also managed and starred in the sitcom 'Museo Coconut' and played the role of Richard, an IT specialist, in 'Camera Café'. In addition to his television work, Reyes has collaborated on radio programs and currently presents the TV show 'Cero en Historia'. He also gained international exposure with his 2017 Netflix special, Joaquín Reyes Una y No Mas. As an author and illustrator, he has published illustrated books like Ellos mismos and Realidad a la piedra, and made his debut as a novelist with Subidón (High) in 2021. Reyes has appeared in films such as Spanish Movie (2009), Ghost Graduation (2012), and is listed to appear in the 2025 film The Night My Dad Saved Christmas 2. He frequently tours the Iberian Peninsula with a live show, such as his collaboration with Ernesto Sevilla, Viéjovenes.
