Joel Oulette
Joel Oulette is a Canadian actor, born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, in 2001 or 2002, who has ties to the Red River Métis Nation and Cumberland House Cree Nation. He began his acting career at age five, encouraged by his mother, and his early roles included an extra part in the 2007 television film Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and a small role in the 2018 film Alpha. Oulette achieved prominence with his first starring role as Jared in the supernatural thriller drama television series Trickster, which premiered in 2020 and earned him a nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards in 2021. Since his breakthrough, he has taken on other roles, including playing the main character Ben Taggart in the series Ruby and the Well and the role of Hahn in the live-action Netflix series Avatar: The Last Airbender. In 2023, he also appeared as a contestant on the ninth season of The Amazing Race Canada alongside his sister, Shayla Stonechild, and in 2024, he co-hosted the documentary series Warrior Up!.
