John Ratzenberger

John Ratzenberger, born on April 6, 1947, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is an American actor, voice actor, and entrepreneur. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of the lovable mail carrier Cliff Clavin on the immensely popular sitcom Cheers, a role for which he earned two Primetime Emmy nominations. His career in entertainment began in the 1970s while living in London, where he formed the improvisational theatre duo "Sal's Meat Market," touring extensively throughout Europe.Beyond Cheers, Ratzenberger has built an extensive filmography, with notable appearances in major motion pictures such as Superman, Superman II, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, and Gandhi. He is particularly renowned for his prolific voice acting work with Pixar Animation Studios, having lent his distinctive voice to characters in every Pixar feature film, including Hamm the piggy bank in the Toy Story franchise, P.T. Flea in A Bug's Life, the Abominable Snowman in Monsters, Inc., Mack the truck in the Cars series, The Underminer in The Incredibles films, and Fritz in Inside Out, among many others. In addition to his acting career, Ratzenberger is also an author and an advocate for American manufacturing and skilled labor, having hosted the Travel Channel show John Ratzenberger's Made in America and co-authored "We've Got it Made in America: A Common Man's Salute to an Uncommon Country."
