Jon Favreau is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, widely recognized for his influential role in shaping modern blockbuster cinema. Born on October 19, 1966, in New York City, Favreau began his career as an actor in the 1990s, gaining early recognition for writing and starring in the cult hit Swingers (1996).
