Jonas Jacobsen is a Danish-German actor, born in Flensburg, Northern Germany, in 1988. Growing up as part of the Danish minority, he developed a global perspective after an exchange year in Australia, leading to extensive travels before settling in Copenhagen. He began his acting journey in the underground theatre scene there, and after a brief stint at the Royal Academy of Architecture, he pursued formal acting training at the prestigious National Academy of Theatre in Oslo, Norway, for three years.Jacobsen has built a notable filmography across Danish and international productions. He is set to appear in Joachim Trier's 2025 film "Sentimental Value" as the character Anders. His television credits include roles in "Midsummer Night" (2024), "A Storm for Christmas" (2022), "Borgen" (2022), "The Fixer" (2021), "Ragnarok" (2020), and "22 July" (2020). Beyond acting, Jacobsen has a unique talent for playing the Scottish Highland Bagpipes, which he has done since the age of 12.
